  2. Click "Scan Folder" and select a directory
  3. Grant permission when macOS prompts you
  4. Wait for the scan to complete
  5. Explore the treemap and file list

Common Questions

Why can't I scan certain folders?

macOS restricts access to system folders and protected locations. You may need to grant Full Disk Access in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Where do deleted files go?

Files are moved to the Trash. You can restore them from there before emptying the Trash.

How do I filter files?

Use the filter controls above the treemap. You can filter by file type, size range, or filename pattern using wildcards (* and ?).
